Pier owners take care of vacant property
Starting June 14, a new multi-functional catering concept will open on the Scheveningen boulevard in Paviljoen Noordboulevard: EVE. The futuristic building, owned by Hommerson, will be operated by RE:BORN, also owners of the Pier and Seaview Scheveningen. EVE wants to be a place where, in addition to regular visitors to the seaside resort, locals know how to find their way back to. Everything at EVE is about creating the right atmosphere and 'vibe'. The cuisine is characterized by a South American/Asian fusion. Club EVE opens its doors on Friday and Saturday nights. The agenda also includes several swinging music and dance nights, including a salsa EVE and jazz EVE. During the day, anyone who wants can open their laptop on the terrace or inside the restaurant to enjoy the wide view while working. To bring the building back to life as soon as possible, RE:BORN will start this catering concept next summer season, after which it will be decided what the final filling will be in 2026. Phased opening
The Noordboulevard in Scheveningen can count on a beautiful new hotspot this coming summer season: EVE. The first floor of this futuristic pavilion will feature comfortable workspaces, a lounge area for drinks, a full-service restaurant with open kitchen and a large terrace overlooking the sea. Beachgoers and locals alike can visit the restaurant for shared plates, sustainable meat and fish dishes and vegan options. On weekend nights, the first floor will transform into a club with DJ booth & dance space. There will also be a calendar of various special EVEnings, such as the Jazz EVE, Salsa EVE and Comedy EVE.
"We as RE:BORN have the best interests of Scheveningen at heart, and that does not include vacancy. We then decided to take charge of this property," said Saman Mohammadi, CEO and co-owner of RE:BORN. "The North Boulevard, and this property in particular, deserve to be given a sustainable interpretation. After all, things have not been going well in this area in recent years. We want to make sure that EVE becomes an attractive place to work, eat and enjoy with (business) guests!" said Mohammadi.
In October 2025, EVE will temporarily close its doors so that the building can be completely remodeled during the winter months.
